		Respite Services Home > Services > Respite Services What are Respite Services? Community Living London offers three different respite services: Weekend relief, Extended relief and Adult Services. All three services give caregivers an opportunity to have their family members supported outside of their home by qualified, trained support staff.
		waiting on picture	Weekend Relief provides care Friday to Sunday for a child under 18 years old with an intellectual disability who lives with a caregiver. Caregivers are welcome to use this service a few weekends out of the year.
		waiting on picture	Extended Relief is for persons of any age with an intellectual disability who live with a parent or guardian. Care is provided in a home-like setting for one week or more.
		waiting on picture	Adult Retreat (Conway) is a program that provides adults with relief in an apartment setting two weekends per month. The focus of this program is on the development of independent living skills while accessing and enjoying a variety of activities in their community.
		Where are Respite Services provided? Respite Services are provided in homes situated in neighbourhoods throughout London. Community Living London has recently built a new respite home in east London. Click on the pictures above to more pictures of the respite location. What are the benefits of Respite Services? Respite Services offer a wonderful opportunity for children and adults to broaden their social circle and experience inclusive community activites. Parents and caregivers benefit by taking time for themselves or spending time with other family members. Respite Services can provide the break you need to take a vacation, or to cover for times of emergency or crisis. How can I get more information or apply for Respite Services?
