Community Living London is a not-for-profit organization committed to people with intellectual disabilities. Community Living London needs strong associations of individuals and families like yours to advocate along side us to make sure our voices are heard. Under our By-Laws, any individual may become a member of Community Living London for an annual fee of $15.00. By becoming a member we are able to communicate to you more effectively as a collective group.
How can I make a difference as a member of Community Living London?
You can make a difference as a member in a number of ways:
- Participate in the annual and general membership meetings of the Association.
- Advocate for full community inclusion with other families who have similar concerns and interests.
- Contribute to the strategic and operational directions of Community Living London.
- Contribute by serving on the Board of Directors or a policy committee
- Volunteer to provide personal support to someone with an intellectual disability.
What are the benefits of becoming a Member?
- Receive the Association's newsletter update that is published quarterly.
- Receive information on Provincial, National and International service trends within the Community Living movement.
- Attend regular events, information sessions and workshops hosted by the membership committee.
- Receive personal phone calls about upcoming events, information sessions and workshops.
- Elect members of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting.
- Receive a Charitable Tax Receipt upon payment.
